You know the feeling.... car's been acting up for a while, and then you finally pinpoint it and it runs RIGHT again. Feels gooooooooooood, but wasn't worth the hassle of the fight I had put in.Over the last couple of weeks, the car's been dropping the number 2 cylinder intermittently, and then picking it back up here and there, but more off than on. Couldn't pinpoint it... wasn't the PTU, wasn't the coilpack, wasn't compression, injector was clicking... was ready to light it on fire and walk away. Today I finally dug deeper into it all... and found the injector wasn't spraying. Clicked just fine through the screwdriver... sounded like it should've been working... but wasn't actually spraying fuel. Swung through my local auto parts store (aka: work) and picked up a new injector, some pb blaster, and a brand new screwdriver. Came home, dremelled the manifold (yeah, that's nerve-wracking, and holy shit it is unnecessarily thick) pulled it, swapped it, checked for leaks and was happy again! ....and still thinking about selling it.
